ORACLES OF THE FAERIE FAITH:
(The Faerie Manifesto)

The survival of human culture depends on its psychic indentification with ecologically viable styles of cultivation. This in turn depends on the creation of a new culture of Nature that stems from pre-historic sources while retaining everything of value that history has produced.

Toward this new Pagan synthesis of cult, culture, and cultivation in devotion to Great Nature, FERAFERIA - which means Wilderness Celebration - presents the following Oracles of Faerie Faith.

1. WILDNESS
Fundamental existence is loving participation in Nature. To exist is to exist in Nature, and tune in to Her numinous tonality.

The Ground of Existence is not an amorphous void like the Buddhist Nirvana. It is dynamic quality of mystery, inherent in Nature, to which the poetic faculty corresponds. The field quality of Nature as a whole compounds awe, exhilaration, creativity, and love. Airs, minerals, plants, and animals are in rapport with the Grand Numinosum of Nature.

The supreme value and beatitude of existence in Nature, fusing passion with compassion, is WILDNESS.

Wildness, the essence of thrilling erotic Touch, joyously externalizes as Nature. Wherever Nature artfully brings forth Ecological Profusion from Celestial Regularity, the existential achievement is WILDERNESS. the Fountainhead of Nature begins to overflow.

2. FAERIE
Humanity is presently a deviant agency of Nature, which is evolving the majesty of Wilderness on Earth. When She applies arts, crafts, and symbolic culture generally to combine the Purposefully Wrought with the Spontaneously Unwrought, a new intensity of Wilderness becomes possible: FAERIE: The Fountainhead of Wildness is revealed in every freshet of Nature's overflow. Humanity has hardly ever performed this Alchemical wonder - as yet!

3. MAGIC
If Humanity's dream worlds of play and display flower appropriately into the field of primal Wilderness, outer and inner Natures undergo surrealistic coalescence. The guidelines of causality surrender to the seductions of Magic, i.e., applied Poetry. Then what Jung called Synchronicity allows ecological vitality to modify celestial regulation, celebration to determine subsistence. Faerie, the Paragon of Wilderness, will allow no band in the spectrum of Love - ranging freely from expansive empathy through lyrical passion to wistful sentiment - to be dimmed.

4. DIVINITY
The diversity of Deity has the same ontological validity as the unity of Deity.

5. POLYTHEISM-PANTHEISM
There are five modalities of polytheistic manifestation:

a. The great Pantheistic-Panerotic Goddess, the Lady Breath of Wildness, the Queen Tree of Stars and All Worlds. One of Her condensed vowel names is AWIYA. Ultimately She allows every unique being to share Her ontological priority.

b. Her two children, the Divine Lovers, who establish the passionate polarity of creation. They are KORE and KOUROS, acknowledging the precedence of KORE. As Maiden Savioress, She enshrines the essence of childlike delicacy, lyrical sacredness, romantic and spritely spirituality. She guarantees transcendence for every unique Presence. Finally, she is the true Muse of the dawning Faerie Age of Aquarius.

c. The seven Gods and Goddesses of the major World Biomes, or Archetypal Landscapes, who link with Sun, Moon, and the five visible Planets through the days of the Sacred Week. They move together as a Pleroma, a divine fullness, which embraces every discord in an ever unfolding concord.

d. Indwelling tutelary Spirits of specific Nature regions, features, forms, and forces. With the help of Pagan Celebrants, these may quicken Holy Earth into fully conscious LAND-SKY-LOVE-BODIES.

e. Freely roving Faerie Bands of Ancestral Spirits promoting the growth potencies of the Biosphere while awaiting reincarnation.

6. PARADISE
The natural fountainhead of human endeavor is not reasonable utility but extravagant mythopoeia. The myths and dreams of Paradise, common to all peoples, predict future actualities for this Planet. Trans-cultural images of the glowing orchard of innocent love constellate from the Collective Unconscious an evolutional FIAT of Cosmos.

Feraferia will found Sanctuaries in accordance with the universal specifications of Paradise. To review these specifications, see the following publications of Feraferia: "Hesperian Life and the Maiden Way", and Paradisal Sanctuary".

These Sanctuaries are intended to replace trash heap cities as normative environs for human community. From these centers, women, men and children will find their true Pagan vocation in seasonal celebration and service to the surrounding Wilderness region, and thus help generate Faerieland.

The expression on Earth of the continual Love Play of KORE and KOUROS is the Seasonal Round unique to each Wilderness Region. Pagans participate in each phase of this Courtship with regionally appropriate Love sacraments. The Henge Mandala of Seasons, Regions, and Urge provides the natural means of Cosmic Self-Fulfillment through perennial loving celebration of Nature.

Wilderness service will at first consist mainly of continual forestation, erosion control, and rescue of endangered trees, animals, and landforms.

7. THE QUEENDOM OF THE TREES
For all Childrem of the Magic Maiden, destruction of animals and plants is utterly unnecessary, and equivalent to homocide. The welfare of the biotic community is more important than any seeming human advantage. By the Faerie Muse all forms of Nature are ENSOULED! As long as slaughterhouses, saw mills, and factories exist, so will battlefields, prisons, and torture chambers.

Proudly aware of their primate heritage, devotees of the KORE live mainly by for, and among the great trees. Everything of worth in Humanity was bred and fed by the trees, whose mighty throng offer the only really humane-natural setting and diet.

Because of the present population explosion and pollution holocaust, Faerie Foresters will promote germination, pollination, and seed banking. They will schedule regular plant-ins of trees native to their own beloved region. These plant-ins will be conducted as sacrament and celebration, with all the pomp of religious seasonal festival. Thus the non-Pagan community may be educated to the need for spiritual re-integration of Soul with Soil, as well as alerted to the immediate threat of ecological catastrophe on a global scale.

The miracle of Fruit and Breast, which Angiosperms have shared with Mammals since the end of the Mesozoic Era, is the ability to extend the flesh as food without destroying the organism. When Faerie begins to actualize the spiritual implications of this miracle, the present Cenozoic Era will bloom into an ECO-PSYCHIC ERA, and initiate a series of stupendous Paradisal metamorphoses throughout the Biosphere. This is why Feraferia conceives the Cosmic Deity, Ourania or Awiya, as Queen Tree of Stars.

8. COMMUNITY IS FREEDOM TO LOVE
Human communities within Paradisal Sanctuaries will become ecstatic wellsprings of love and creativity, available for the developmental needs of Wilderness. The EARTH SENSITIVITY fostered by this love will counsel that most of Wilderness be left alone, undisturbed, except for the continual blessing and enchantment of Her biome bodies on the Henge of Seasons and Regions, in response to the rhythms of the Sacred Tree Charm Calendar.

In deference to the fertility of the greater biotic community, the fertility of human populations will be strictly curtailed. Because the transformative Maiden component of the Archetypal Feminine will be stressed, and the MILLENNIAL MAIDENHOOD of the human species emphatically assumed, libido will be freed from reproductive applications and directed toward exquisite non-repressive sublimations of EROS.

The Panerotic mobilization of the entire human soul and body and the entire human community corresponds with the mobilization of entire Landscapes into awakened Goddess Bodies, and the consequent actualization of Faerieland on Earth.

The human community, inspired to goodness and joy by the Maiden Goddess, will become fluidly self-regulating. All forms of external coercion, implemented by constant threat of punishment, will automatically diminish.

Each individual will become at once the child, the parent, and the sibling of every other individual, and will discover carefree consanguinity with all Nature beings: fires, airs, clouds, waters, stones, soils, trees, plants, and animals.

9. EDUCATION FOR WILDNESS AND LOVE
The reclamation of Humanity for loving service and celebration of all Nature demands an unprecedented re-orientation of education. The arts, especially rhapsodic dancing and singing and etheric theurgy, will prime each fiber of soul and body for the discharge of immense cosmic energies through magically informed exchanges of every variety, so long as no one is ever victimized.

The evolutionary trend of Humanity whereby childlike traits are retained in maturity, depends on adherence to the Maiden archetype of playfulness. There is a decided connection between the waste of Humanity's aphrodisian potential and its laying waste of Earth's ecological potential.

The Maiden promise of human delicacy can only be fulfilled if all adults are allowed to participate fully in a community of educated sexuality, wherein all forms of sensuality are dignified and nothing except cruelty and emotional sterility are censured. The fullest expression of kindness depends on the fullest experience of sensual grace.

Groves of committed persons who constitute themselves experimental families will have the function of developing heart-felt, soulful love linkages within the Paradisal context.

In a sumptuous milieu of refined romantic love, every element of culture not worth retaining will readily slough off, and the radiant Love Child will arise unhampered. Her innocent romance with all forms of Nature will even Death unveil as another door to rapture and eternal life in love.
