Here is the description of us in the program, derived from Fred Adams' original writings:
"Feraferia - A Dance for the Goddess: Feraferia is nature oriented, poetic tribal Folk and Faerie Lore, festival forms, magic, esoteric religions, erotic systems of
spiritual development, ecstasy and vision quest, divinations, enchantments, seasonal and regional nature communion, wild-food gathering information, organic
horticulture, nature blending arts and crafts, research into communication between all forms of life and nature, golden feast diet and paradisal life styles. Join
Feraferia as we invite the Fay to dance with us in the endless wedding procession of Ouvrania and Kronos, of alpine peaks and cone forests, at it winds through
mazes of starlight in the nuptial night of the nameless bride!"< /I>
Here you can find the complete text of the Feraferia Oimelc festival.
We will dance forth the Goddess from the Underworld, and entrance the local Fay (faerie) mostly from the nearby Santa Cruz Mountains and the San Francisco
Wetlands and Bay, but also from the distant galaxies, to join us in the world between the worlds for a time of magic and revelry!
May you be inspired to come dance with Feraferia! Please let me know if you will be joining us.
Blessings, Jo Carson from Feraferia.
Nine Royal Passions Project Finished!
Wednesday december 21st 2011. At last, the Feraferia Yearly Festivals or 'Nine Royal Passions of the Year' are online for everyone to read and share. Added to these
texts are the original texts which were originally added to them to explain the Feraferia system to the readers of the original blue booklets. It was Fred's wish
these texts should be offered to the public at large for free this way. Everyone is invited to respond or react to make this project a living entity.
You can check all the festivals and see which one is ready at the Festival Index.

In Memoriam: Lady Svetlana
Thursday may 6th 2010 after a long illness Lady Svetlana quietly passed over to the other side in a nursery hone in California.
For years she was the partner and great inspiration of Fred McAdams. Together they were the ultimate Highpriestess and Highpriest of Feraferia.
During that time she wrote a great number of poems, texts and rituals of her own, which together with Fred's material make up the Feraferia codex
with which we now have to work in order to continue their paradisal vision of a more 'wild' and natural world to come.
May the Wings of the Lady Caress and Protect Her on her way to the Summerland.
In Memoriam: Fred McAdams
Fred McAdams passed over to the other side in California on saturday august 9th 2008 at 8:00 am. His niece was at his side
holding his hand. It was a shock to everyone who knew him, pagans and non pagans alike. The memorial service took place sunday, the 28th of September, 2008,
at the Mont Salvat Temple and Hermatage of the OTA Lodge in Pasadena, California.
Fred was of great importance, not only for our own Dutch group, but also for the Pagan Community as a whole. In the 1960's it was Fred who organised the Council of
Themis, and together with Anderson he founded the Fairy Faith, which later on gave birth to Faery Wicca and Fred's own Feraferia movement. In the time I helped him
organising his Feraferia texts and turn them into some kind of complete 'Book of Shadows' he was my closest advisory by organising my own group here in
the Netherlands. I'm truly sad I never got the chance to meet him personally.......
A great artist, magus, magister, but most of all human and friend has gone.
May the Wings of the Lady Caress and Protect Him on his way to the Summerland.
Other people will maintain and continue his work for the future. The current board of Feraferia will be Poke Runyon, Pat Ancona and Jo Carson. They will keep Feraferia alive
in California by organising at least one Feraferia seasonal ceremony per year. Meanwhile according to Fred's ideas we will be working hard on his texts and in time we will offer them to
the community for free to download them in the lay-out and way it was intended. Links will appear on this side as soon as this project will start.
Fred McAdams Art Features in New Movie.
March 2008. Fred McLaren's artwork can now be viewed in the new hermetic movie 'Beyond Lemuria' In this fictional story about the everlasting
battle between the forces of good and evil, Fred's art is presented as prehistoric remains of a long lost civilisation. It even comes to life in a scene when
a Goddes steps out of the painting into the 'real' world. You can find more about this remarkable project at
http://www.beyondlemuria.com/.
