Original Appendices to the Yearly Festivals:
Originally published as an appendix to the Festival of Samhain.
| I. |
Thou shalt love and honour Earth for it blesses thy life and governs our survival. |
| II. |
Thou shalt keep each day sacred to Gaia and celebrate the turning of the Seasons. |
| III. |
Thou shalt not hold thyself above other loving things nor drive them to extinction. |
| IV. |
Thou shalt give thanks for thy food to the creatures and plants that nourish Earth. |
| V. |
Thou shalt limit thy offsprings for multitudes of people are a burden to Gaia. |
| VI. |
Thou shalt not kill nor waste Earth’s riches upon weapons of war. |
| VII. |
Thou shalt not pursue profit at the Earth’s expense but should strive to restore Her damaged majesty. |
| VIII. |
Thou shalt not hide from thyself or others the consequences of thy actions upon Mother Earth. |
| IX. |
Thou shalt not steal from future generations by impovering or prisoning the Great Mother. |
| X. |
Thou shalt consume material goods in moderation so all creatures my share Gaia’s bounty. |
